A Placement fee as per regulation is a one-time payment to a staffing firm in the event of a successful selection and the fee is no more than one (1) month equivalent of the basic salary in Philippine currency if such fee is allowed to be collected.


If you are applying under the following categories or countries, then you do not need to pay the placement fee:

  • Domestic helpers/ Household Service Workers
  • Workers to be deployed to countries where the charging and collection of placement fees is not allowed (e.g. New Zealand, UK, Canada).  You may check with DMW for an updated list of countries and job positions that do not require placement fees.


For aspiring overseas job applicants, the fees may include the following:


A. Documentation Costs

  1. Philippine Passport
  2. NBI / Police / Barangay Clearance
  3. PSA Birth Certificate
  4. Certified True Copy of School Records / PRC License
  5. DFA Apostille

B. TESDA Certificates

C. Medical Examinations

D. PhilHealth Contributions

E. PAG-IBIG contributions (Online Membership Registration)


To be a bonafide applicant for an overseas job, you need to have the following Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Philippine Passport with at least three (3) years validity
  • Sign up and create a DMW E-Registration account 
  • Have your E-Registration Number ready so you may proceed to complete the modules Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar


PEOS - is a computer-based learning facility used by all Filipinos aspiring to find jobs overseas.  It aims to guide job seekers, like you, to understand the realities of working overseas.


To let you know if you and your family are ready for you to work overseas, as well as guiding you on how to distinguish legal recruiters and job orders.


As mentioned in Q#3, PEOS is mandatory for all overseas jobs applicants.  It must be taken and completed before applying with a recruitment agency, just like us.


You may take the course anywhere and anytime, as long as there is a stable internet connection. Remember, registering or signing up is free.


At the end of the modules, the system will issue to you a certificate of completion.  Do make sure you entered correctly your name (as it appears on your passport) and your birth date.


The basic or initial document requirements are:

  1. Philippine Passport with at least three (3) years validity
  2. Updated Résumé
  3. PEOS Certificate
  4. Certificate of Employment
  5. School Credentials
